Zalakaros Thermal Lake and Ökopart

The aim of the project to be implemented within the framework of the tender titled "Development of tourist attractions and services" is to create an attraction complementing the spa offering of Zalakaros. The main aim of establishing the Ökopart planned within the project is to broaden the town's range of tourist attractions.

If we have caught your interest and you would like to visit the facility, we offer several ways to get there. The lake has its own car park, which you can reach from the lower row of pavilions by passing in front of the Men-Dan Hotel, turning right and then left. Those arriving on foot need to cross Gyógyfürdő tér (Spa Square) in front of the entrance to the open-air bath, leaving it behind and moving away from the main road, using the clearly visible silhouette of the slides as a guide. On the eastern side of the lake, the newly built cycle path also offers a nature-friendly way to get there.

With the Thermal Lake and Ökopart project, the content of the town's slogan, "Draw strength from the wonders of nature!", has been enriched with yet another treasure trove, to the great delight of the people of Zalakaros and visitors alike.
